MELBOURNE--Copper Range Ltd. (CRJ.AU) said Wednesday it will sell four exploration licenses and five license applications in South Australia state to BHP Billiton Ltd. (BHP) for A$3 million.

The sales are subject to several conditions, including the completion of due diligence by BHP and government consent to transfer the licenses within 12 months, Copper Range said in a statement to the Australian stock exchange.
