BMW Picks Walter Mertl as CFO to Replace Nicolas Peter

BMW AG has appointed Walter Mertl to succeed Nicolas Peter as
chief financial officer.
The German luxury-car maker said Thursday that Mr. Peter would
retire after the company's annual general meeting on May 11.
Mr. Mertl joined BMW in 1998 and, in recent years, he was head
of the group's corporate controlling division.
