The White House on Monday released the names of 12 chief executives who will serve two-year member terms on the U.S.-India CEO Forum.
The forum, created in 2005, is "a mechanism for strengthening economic ties between the two countries," the White House said in a statement.
The company heads are slated to discuss investment opportunities, job growth and potential partnerships. The forum held its first meeting of the year at the Treasury Department on Monday.
Chief executives serving on the forum include David Cote of Honeywell International Inc. (HON), Louis Chenevert of United Technologies Corp. (UTX), Richard T. Clark of Merck & Co. (MRK), Inc, Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM), Paul Hanrahan of AES Corp. (AES), Paul Jacobs of Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM), Ellen Kullman of DuPont (DD), Andrew Liveris of Dow Chemical Co. (DOW), Terry McGraw of The McGraw Hill Cos. (MHP), Indra Nooyi of PepsiCo Inc. (PEP), Vikram Pandit of Citigroup (C) and Mike Splinter of Applied Materials (AMAT).
Since its creation, the forum has met in the U.S. and in India.
