The N.I.R. Group, LLC (“NIR Group”),
one of the largest and most active Private Investment in Public Equity
(PIPE) investment fund managers in the world, today announced that Brett
Golden is joining the firm’s business
development team. Mr. Golden will report directly to Corey Ribotsky,
chairman and chief executive officer.

Mr. Golden has a broad array of investment banking and investment
management experience. Prior to joining NIR, Mr. Golden founded Colonial
Capital Partners, LLC, a client-focused investment bank, where he raised
over $70 million for both public and private companies and structured
financial sector M&A transactions.
Prior to founding Colonial Capital Partners, Mr. Golden served as a
consultant to several privately held businesses, helping to raise
capital and evaluate potential divestures and acquisitions. As a trusted
advisor, Mr. Golden also counseled high net worth individuals on asset
management with a focus on establishing investment policies and
selection, including incorporating alternative investment strategies
into an overall investment plan.
Mr. Golden was a minority owner in First Colonial Securities Group, LLC,
a family-owned boutique investment bank. Mr. Golden was instrumental in
growing First Colonial’s operations to 25
offices nationwide including an office of 200 retail brokers
specializing in asset management and investment banking.
