GBPJPY Pound Sterling vs Japanese Yen

The Japanese yen retreated from early highs against its major rivals in the late Asian session on Tuesday

The yen fell to 130.12 against the euro and 123.27 against the U.S. dollar, from early 4-day highs of 129.76 and 122.64, respectively.

Against the pound, the yen dropped to 185.69 from an early high of 185.08. This may be compared to an early 1-week low of 185.79.

The yen edged down to 119.85 against the Swiss franc, from an early high of 119.36.

If the yen extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 132.00 against the euro, 124.00 against the greenback, 188.00 against the pound and 121.00 against the franc.
