GBPJPY Pound Sterling vs Japanese Yen

The British pound weakened against the other major currencies in the early European session on Friday.

The British pound fell to a 9-day low of 156.28 against the yen, from an early high of 158.06.

The pound dropped to 1.4596 against the U.S. dollar, from an early near 3-month high of 1.4664.

Against the euro and the Swiss franc, the pound edged down to 0.7796 and 1.4059 from early highs of 0.7764 and 1.4131, respectively.

If the pound extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 152.00 against the yen, 1.43 against the greenback, 0.79 the euro and 1.37 against the franc.
