Loonie Rises Vs Most Majors Ahead Of Canada Retail Sales

(RTTNews) - Canada retail sales for August are due from Statistics Canada at 8:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While it held steady against the aussie, it rose against the rest of major rivals.
The loonie was worth 1.4333 against the euro, 92.34 against the yen, 0.9242 against the aussie and 1.2323 against the greenback at 8:25 am ET.
