Intrum Seeks a Partner to Buy EUR12.1 Billion in NPLs -Bloomberg

--Intrum Justitia AB is looking for a partner in a deal to
purchase a 12.1 billion-euro ($15 billion) portfolio of bad loans
from Italy's Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed
sources.
--The plan would value the debt around EUR3.5 billion and would
be financed by a combination of bank loans and equity, it says,
adding that around five funds have expressed interest in
coinvesting in the equity portion.
--Intesa wants to cut its nonperforming-loan ratio to 6% in 2021
from 11.9% in end-2017, according to Bloomberg.
