Siemens AG (SIE.XE) said Thursday that it has been selected to supply a compression train for the Camisea gas-condensate asset in Peru.

Financial details were not disclosed.

The company said it will deliver a SGT-700 gas turbine, identical to one it supplied in 2011. The new delivery will be used for the continuation of the exploration and production of hydrocarbons in Block 88, which is operated by Pluspetrol Peru Corp. SA.

"This compressor train will allow Pluspetrol to save valuable time and expense in terms of execution, installation, and operator training. In addition, our large service infrastructure based in Peru helps ensure long-term support of the complete installed fleet," Matthew Chinn, executive vice president of New Equipment Solutions for Dresser-Rand, a Siemens business.

Equipment commissioning is scheduled for mid-2020, Siemens said.
