Compass Group PLC (CPG.LN) said Thursday that organic revenue
grew 6.9% in the first quarter of fiscal 2019 and it expects the
full year to be slightly ahead of the middle of its targeted
range.
The support services company added that it continues to make
progress with its disposal program and will give more information
when it reports half-year earnings in May.
The company previously announced that it was managing its
portfolio to increase focus on food and was in the process of
selling up to 5% of revenues in noncore businesses.
Compass said last November at the time of its earnings for the
year ended Sept. 30 that it expected organic growth for fiscal 2019
to be in the middle of its 4%-6% range with modest margin
progression.
