Apple to Hold Worldwide Developers Conference June 3-7 in San Jose

Apple Inc. (AAPL) on Thursday announced the company will hold
its Worldwide Developers Conference in San Jose, Calif., on June 3
through June 7 this year.
"WWDC is Apple's biggest event of the year. It brings thousands
of the most creative and dedicated developers from around the world
together with over a thousand Apple engineers to learn about our
latest platform innovations and to connect as a community," said
Phil Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide
marketing.
Developers can apply for tickets, which are issued randomly,
until 5 p.m PDT on March 20 through the company's WWDC website,
Apple said. In addition, the company said, WWDC scholarships are
available for student developers, with details on how to apply
available on the WWDC website.
