--Daimler's incoming Chief Executive Ola Kaellenius is aiming to create savings of 6 billion euros ($6.78 billion) at Daimler's Mercedes division and EUR2 billion in savings at Daimler Trucks by 2021 after taking up his position at the German car maker next month, Manager Magazin reports, not naming sources.

--Mr. Kaellenius's savings program will also include job cuts of up to 10,000 positions "over the medium term," according to Manager Magazin.
