Alaska Air Finds Boeing 737 Max Grounding Hurting Its Rivals -- Market Talk
25 Abril 2019 - 8:51PM
Dow Jones News
Alaska Air Group Inc. said the grounding of the Boeing 737 MAX
might lift revenues some, as competitors have to reduce flying.
"We've seen carriers pull seats out of the market. we've seen
numerous frequency reductions across our markets as late as last
week into June " Chief Revenue Officer Andrew Harrison said on an
earnings call, noting that those moves could boost unit revenues.
Alaska was due to receive its first MAX aircraft this summer but
executives said with only three of the planes due this year, the
grounding won't have much of a direct on Alaska's plans.
