Intercede Group PLC said Wednesday that it has secured a $500,000 contract with an independent U.S. federal agency for the supply of its MyID credential management software.

The cybersecurity company said an order for an initial 20,000 devices, plus associated professional services and support, has been received.

The majority of the $500,000 will be recognized in the current financial year, it said. There is potential for further devices over time, it added.

Shares in Intercede at 0812 GMT were up 1.5 pence, or 2.1%, at 74 pence.
