Airbus SE said Wednesday that airline Etihad Airways, based in the United Arab Emirates, has signed a letter of intent for the purchase of seven A350F freighter aircraft.

The deal for the freighter variants of Airbus's wide-body A350 jets was unveiled during the Singapore Airshow, which ends Friday.

The A350F aircraft will be added to Etihad's existing fleet of five A350-1000 jets, a passenger version of the A350 family jets, the European plane maker said.
