Wizz Air Suspends Flights to Ukraine After Russian Attacks

Eastern Europe focused Wizz Air Holdings PLC said Thursday that
it was temporarily suspending all flight operations in Ukraine
after Russia began a military assault on the country and its
airspace closed.
Shares at 1011 GMT were down 375 pence, or 10%, at 3,269
pence.
The London-listed budget airline operates around 117 routes from
six airports in Ukraine and had recently announced a major capacity
expansion in country after it signed the EU's Open Skies agreement
last October.
"The safety and security of our passengers and crew remains our
number one priority and we hope normality will to return to Ukraine
soon," the London-listed budget airline said.
