German stock exchange operator Deutsche Boerse AG said late Thursday that Hannover Rueck SE and Daimler Truck Holding AG will enter the DAX index on March 21.

The reinsurance company and the manufacturer of commercial vehicles will replace Siemens Energy AG and Beiersdorf AG in the DAX index, which contains the 40 major German blue-chip companies, it said.

The two companies leaving the DAX will join the MDAX index, which lists the 50 largest companies below the DAX stocks.
