Disney Ousts Entertainment Chairman Rice, Hollywood Reporter Reports

--Walt Disney Co. has fired Peter Rice as chairman of its
entertainment and programming operations, according to the
Hollywood Reporter.
--Sources told the Hollywood Reporter that Disney CEO Bob Chapek
relieved the former Fox executive of his duties this week, with Mr.
Rice's top lieutenant, Dana Walden, taking over his
responsibilities.
--Disney and Mr. Rice didn't immediately respond to a request
for comment, according to the report.
