--Meta Platforms Inc., the parent of Facebook, and Amazon.com Inc. are cutting back on planned office expansions in New York, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with each matter.

--Meta has decided against taking an additional 300,000 square feet of space at a building near Astor Place where it's already located. The social media giant is also pausing plans to further build out its new offices in Hudson Yards as it evaluates what to do with the space, the report said.

--Representatives for Meta and Amazon didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from Dow Jones Newswires.
