3M Co. said it will stop making "forever chemicals" and work to
discontinue their use across the manufacturing conglomerate's
portfolio of products by the end of 2025. "3M to Stop Making,
Discontinue Use of Two 'Forever Chemicals'" at 6:58 a.m. ET
incorrectly said 3M plans to stop making and discontinue the use of
two "forever chemicals."
