EU Might Buy Fewer Vaccine Doses From Pfizer, BioNTech for Higher Price, Reuters Reports

--The European Commission is in talks with Pfizer and BioNTech
to reduce the up to 500 million vaccine doses that it had committed
to buying, in exchange for higher prices, Reuters reported, citing
a source with knowledge of the talks.
--The agreement might also possibly include an extension of the
deadline for delivery until the second half of 2024, Reuters said,
citing the source.
--Negotiations are continuing and it isn't yet clear what the
final outcome may be, according to the agency.
