Credit Agricole has acquired the French fintech startup, Worklife, which specializes in the digitalization of employee benefits, complementing the bank's offerings related to employee savings, retirement and health insurance, it said.

The Worklife acquisition enables Credit Agricole to better support companies in managing and developing their compensation policies, it said Wednesday.

Worklife--formed in 2020--offers an application that unites employee benefits, for example meal vouchers and transport passes, and a single payment card that combines them together, Credit Agricole said.

Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
