JFT Strategies Fund (the "Fund") (TSX:JFS.UN) announces that the Fund's
syndicate of agents for its treasury offering (the "Offering") has exercised its
over-allotment option and acquired an additional 209,000 Class A units of the
Fund. In total, the Fund issued 3,299,822 Class A units and 950,831 Class F
units of the Fund pursuant to the Offering, for gross proceeds of approximately
$52.6 million.  


The syndicate of agents for the Offering was led by CIBC, co-led by National
Bank Financial Inc., RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities Inc., and included
Scotiabank, BMO Capital Markets, GMP Securities LP, Canaccord Genuity Corp.,
Raymond James Ltd. and Desjardins Securities Inc.
