A.G. Edwards Announces Senior Management Changes Donnis Casey to Retire at Fiscal Year-End, Mary Atkin to Replace Casey as Director of Staff ST. LOUIS, June 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A.G. Edwards (NYSE:AGE) officials announced changes to its senior management team. Donnis L. Casey, 56, executive vice president and director of Staff for A.G. Edwards, will retire at the end of the firm's current fiscal year on Feb. 28, 2005. Mary V. Atkin, 49, who currently serves as executive vice president and director of Corporate Strategy, will assume the director of Staff position upon Casey's retirement. The firm intends to name a new director of Corporate Strategy early next fiscal year. Casey has been responsible for overseeing all activities of the firm's Training and Development, Human Resources, Continuing Education, General Services and Facilities Management areas. "Donnis deserves much of the credit for helping our Training department become one of the best corporate training programs in the country," said Robert L. Edwards in 1966 in a clerical position in the Securities Accounting Department. She later advanced through the ranks of the Training Department to become assistant training director in 1976. She was named to her current position in 1996. Casey is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and the brokerage subsidiary's board of directors. Under Casey's leadership, A.G. Edwards' training program has been named to Training magazine's list of the Top 100 Corporate Training Programs* in each of the four years of the list's existence from 2001-2004. Atkin has been with A.G. Edwards for more than 25 years. In addition to her current position as director of Corporate Strategy, she has served as the firm's director of Information Technology and its manager of Corporate Communications after holding a variety of investment research positions.
