(NYSE: NVTA) today announced that it has commenced an underwritten
public offering of $125.0 million of
shares of its common stock, before deducting underwriting discounts
and commissions and other offering expenses. All of the shares are
being offered by Invitae. In addition, Invitae expects to grant the
underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional
$18.75 million of shares of its
common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting
discounts and commissions. The offering is subject to market and
