Redemption of U.S.$600,000,000 Floating Rate Notes due 2023 (the "Notes") issued by Standard Chartered PLC ("SCPLC")

ISIN: XS1887493481 and US853254BL33

SCPLC has today given notice in accordance with the Final Terms dated 27 September 2018 relating to the Notes (the "Final Terms") that, on 20 January 2022, it will redeem the U.S.$600,000,000 in principal amount of the outstanding Notes together with accrued but unpaid interest in accordance with the Final Terms.
