Redemption of U.S.$500,000,000 Floating Rate Notes due 2023 (the "Notes") issued by Standard Chartered PLC ("SCPLC")

ISIN: US853254BW97 and USG84228EL86

SCPLC has today given notice in accordance with the Final Terms dated 6 October 2020 relating to the Notes (the "Final Terms") that, on 14 October 2022, it will redeem the U.S.$500,000,000 in principal amount of the outstanding Notes together with accrued but unpaid interest in accordance with the Final Terms.
