Glencar issued 158,600 new ordinary shares to its project manager in 
Mali on 9 June 2009. Following the issue of these shares the enlarged 
issued share capital of Glencar is 301,901,764 ordinary shares.   The 
new ordinary shares will rank pari-passu in all respects with the 
existing ordinary shares. 
 
Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange and to the 
Irish Stock Exchange for the 158,600 ordinary shares referred to 
above to be admitted to trading on the AIM Market of the London Stock 
Exchange ("AIM") and on the Irish Enterprise Exchange of the Irish 
Stock Exchange ("IEX"). Dealing is expected to commence in these 
shares on 30 July 2009.
