Board Changes 
 
 
Result of Extraordinary General Meeting 
 
 
Change of Name to BgenuineTec Inc 
 
 
 
 
SDKK, a leading fingerprint authentication company, announces that at the 
Extraordinary General Meeting ("EGM") held in Tokyo today all the resolutions 
were passed including the resolutions to appoint Dr Hiroaki Kunieda and Dr 
Dongju Li as Executive Directors with responsibility for the executive 
management and strategy of the Company. It was also resolved that the Company's 
name will shortly be changed to BgenuineTec Inc and also that the Company's 
auditors would be exempted from their liability under Section 1, Article 423 of 
the Companies Act 2006. 
 
 
At a board meeting held after the EGM, Dr Hiroaki Kunieda was appointed Chief 
Executive Officer and Dr Dongju Li was appointed Chief Technical Officer of the 
Company. 
 
 
The Company has also announced that Shoichi Kiyomoto has resigned as a director 
with effect from 10 February 2009. 
 
 
Dr Kunieda (aged 57) is a Professor in the Department of Integrated Systems and 
Communications at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and previously of the 
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with areas of research 
including Fingerprint Recognition Systems. Dr Kunieda was a founder and 
executive director of BEYOND LSI Inc., in which SDKK has a 60.48% shareholding. 
 
 
Dr Li (aged 46) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrated 
Systems and Communications at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and a 
co-founder, executive director & chief technology officer at BEYOND LSI Inc. 
 
 
There are no further disclosures for the purposes of Rule 17 and Schedule 2(g) 
of the AIM rules. 
 
 
Taketoshi Kashiwabara, the Chairman, commented: 
 
 
"I am conscious that we have disappointed our shareholders since we were 
admitted to trading on AIM and I would like to assure shareholders that I am 
fully committed to the ongoing success of SDKK which will shortly change its 
name to BgenuineTec Inc. 
 
 
It is our intention that the change of name will mark a new beginning for the 
Company and I am particularly delighted to welcome Dr Hiroaki Kunieda and Dr 
Dongju Li to the board as executive directors and I look forward to working with 
them to develop Company and build long term value for our shareholders."

Background Note on Secure Design 
On 14 July 2006, Secure Design was the first Japanese company to be admitted to 
trading on AIM. It offers fingerprint authentication products to companies 
and individuals that wish to establish high levels of security using biometrics. 
Biometrics uses a physical attribute of the body, such as a fingerprint to 
identify and verify the individual with the aim of making individual 
authentication efficient and secure. 
The Company offers a range of fingerprint authentication products and systems, 
from an integrated system to a mobile device. The Company designs and outsources 
the production of these products and can tailor them to individual client 
specific needs and applications. 
Biometric applications provide convenient and reliable security which reduces 
the cost associated with the failure of conventional authentication methods. The 
principal factor which distinguishes biometrics from conventional password based 
authentication is the enhanced security level it provides while maintaining the 
privacy of individual users.
