    Resignation of Director

    The Board of Shieldtech, the specialist provider of products and services to the Homeland Security market, today made the following
announcement:

    "The Board has today accepted the resignation of Glenn Hopkinson as a director of the Company following Glenn's decision to give notice
of his intention to terminate his employment with the Company's subsidiary, Aegis, on 31 December 2008.

    Glenn joined Aegis in 2002 as Operations Director and led a management buy-out in 2004 with the incumbent management team, creating a
partial exit for Aegis' founders. Shieldtech acquired Aegis in July 2007 at which time most of Aegis' directors left the business.  Glenn
agreed to remain for a transitional period.  Recognising Glenn's desire to move on to new and different challenges, progressively since June
Tony O'Neill, CEO, and Robert Denton, Group Finance Director, have assumed all operational and financial responsibilities.   

    The Board is grateful for Glenn's support and assistance since the acquisition and wishes him well for the future."
