Hattrick extends presence in Russia

Zattikka, the online games entertainment group, is pleased to announce that Hattrick, its leading web browser football game, is extending its international reach into Russia through a partnership with Championat, the most popular sports website in Russia.

The Championat site had 5 million visitors, generating over 170 million page views, in January, 2013. It is the Number 1 sports portal in Russia, publishing news, scores, analytical data, videos and online broadcasting. In addition, the site has an active social network of some 300,000 sports fans.

Hattrick will be actively promoted on the site through a series of campaigns which will include a direct link to the game section. Hattrick will also adopt the easy sign up interface used by Championat for its other games, which Zattikka believes will increase cross-selling opportunities for Hattrick. In addition, both Hattrick and Championat promote strong social media interaction with their subscriber base, providing additional support and more importantly encourage growth.
