Students to Benefit from Practical Technology Learning Experience ATLANTA, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CheckFree Health & Fitness, a business unit of CheckFree Corporation (NASDAQ:CKFR), today announced the donation of club management software to Indiana University's School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER). The gift will enable undergraduate and graduate fitness students to develop practical experience with the industry's leading club management software. The software will be taught as part of the curriculum for both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and will be installed at the Fitness and Wellness Living Learning Center (FWLLC), a student-run fitness facility in a campus residence center, providing students with hands-on experience. Indiana University Residential Programs and Services houses, maintains, and oversees the FWLLC. Indiana University offers fitness specialist undergraduate and fitness management graduate degrees, both designed to combine industry applications with science education. CheckFree Health & Fitness software will be used by Indiana University beginning this fall to help prepare students for the professional health management world, which is increasingly integrating computer technology into club operations such as personal training, group exercise and fitness assessments.
