DRC to Enhance Joint and Coalition Warfighting System Capabilities for Command and Control, Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Center ANDOVER, Mass., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that the Air Force Command and Control, Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Center has awarded the company a $4.5 million contract. The contract, which began on September 15, 2005, has a one-year base period and two option years. Under the terms of the contract, DRC will work with the Center's Directorate of Operations to facilitate transformation of its IT systems to enhance joint and coalition warfighting capabilities in an information-sharing, network centric environment. To achieve its tasked mission, DRC will perform requirements development, document preparation, policy formulation, program management, and acquisition management support for current and emerging systems that support Air and Space operations. Systems that DRC will work on include, but are not limited to, the Air and Space Operations Center, Theater Battle Management Core Systems, Global Command and Control System, and Special Operations Forces/Combat Search and Rescue systems. Work on the contract will be performed at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.
