DRC to Provide Acquisition Logistics Support ANDOVER, Mass., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program Office awarded the company a five-year contract, with one base year and four option years, worth $10.5 million if all options are exercised. DRC's scope of work encompasses a variety of acquisition support services in the areas of autonomics logistics, strategic planning, business operations management, and technical assessment and analysis. "This award provides DRC the contract vehicle to continue our relationship, first begun in 1995, with the Joint Strike Fighter program and reaffirms our commitment to the delivery of value and innovation to the customer," said James P. "Our Joint Strike Fighter team understands the importance of this national priority program and we are extremely pleased to continue to be a member the JSFPO team." The contract was competitively awarded through the General Services Administration's FEDSIM contract, and is a follow-on effort to a previous JSF contract awarded in 2002. The current effort, which began January 1, 2006 has a first year total value of $1.9 million and represents 20% incremental growth over the previous levels of effort. Specific work on the program includes: assistance in evaluation and development of acquisition and sustainment strategies, analytical support for government validation and verification of the autonomic logistics system, technical support for JSF models enhancement, business process improvement initiatives and recommendations for performance-based program metrics that capture operational and supportability requirements.
