ANDOVER, Mass., April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary HJ Ford, as a member of the HMRTECH/HJ Ford Joint Venture Limited Liability Corporation, has been selected as one of ten prime contractors for the Consolidated Acquisition of Professional Services (CAPS) ID/IQ by the Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The 5-year Acquisition and Advisory Services contract has a total estimated potential program value of $850 million to the ten prime contractors. It will replace the ASC Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) as the primary contract vehicle for delivering consulting services, program management, logistics support, systems engineering, financial management, and business transformation services to a variety of ASC, Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) customers; in addition to other Wright Patterson Air Force Base organizations. Specifically, it supports the acquisition management needs of several high-profile Air Force programs within the Long Range Strike, Reconnaissance, Mobility, Fighter/Attack, and ACS System Wings, the Training Aircraft and Special Operations Forces System Groups, and F-22 System Program Office, all of which have current task order efforts with HJ Ford. In 2005, HJ Ford received approximately $45M in ASC BPA orders.
