ANDOVER, Mass., June 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) announced today that it has been awarded a new Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract by the United States Army with a potential value of $22 million over five years to support the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Analysis Center (TRAC) at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas with operation analysis, experimentation, warfighting scenarios, combat modeling and simulations, operational effectiveness analysis and planning, and decision aids. "This contract award reflects the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command's high level of satisfaction with DRC-provided solutions and its confidence in our continuing support to help them meet the future Army's warfighting demands," said DRC chairman, president and CEO James P. Regan. "This important new customer expands the scope of work that DRC provides in the Ft. Leavenworth area, including support to the Collective Training Directorate, the Combat Studies Institute, the Army Research Institute, TRADOC Program Integration Office for Battle Command and the Center for Army Lessons Learned." The contract, which is scheduled to begin July 1, 2006, includes one base year and four option years. DRC will assist TRAC in conducting major studies and analysis to support Army doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel and facilities issues associated with Army transformation. DRC will help TRAC develop, manage, operate, and maintain the tools, scenarios, data and simulations needed to enable analysis.
