ANDOVER, Mass., July 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that it received an additional task order under the Air Force's Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP II) contract. The $3.7 million effort, known as Productivity Improvements for Landing Gear Overhaul Technology (PILOT), was awarded through the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Under this task order, which has a period of performance of 18 months, DRC will provide engineering design, prototyping, testing and documentation, as part of a disciplined study of the C/KC-135 aircraft landing gear to identify system deficiencies, to validate current or newly proposed projects and to perform development and implementation activities for each validated project.
