ANDOVER, Mass., July 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that it received an additional task order under the Air Force's Design and Engineering Support Program (DESP II) contract. The $8 million effort, known as Department of Defense Business Intelligence and Acquisition Systems Support, was awarded through the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. Under this task order, which has a period of performance of 40 months with options, DRC will provide functional and technical support services including engineering, analytical and project management services in support of the Army Business Center for Acquisition Systems Team at the U.S. Army's Software Engineering Center, Fort Lee, Maryland. The program supports several Department of Defense and Army acquisition systems and initiatives such as the Acquisition Spend Analysis Solution, the Standard Procurement System, and the Army Contracting Business Intelligence System. DRC has been actively supporting these programs at Software Engineering Center for more than 9 years. The award enables DRC to continue and expand work with these customers.
