The validation of the organization's CMMI Level 3 achievement was based on the execution of a Standard CMMI Appraisal for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Class A appraisal. This appraisal was led by an external, SEI-authorized Lead Appraiser from Process Strategies, Inc. The SEI's CMMI is a global standard for industry best practices for software and systems engineering. This CMMI Level 3 accomplishment recognizes the high level of process maturity achieved by the appraised organization.
