Seasoned Executive to Head Acquisition Management and Engineering Division ANDOVER, Mass., March 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO), a provider of innovative engineering, technical and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, today announced Irving Zaks has been named Vice President and General Manager, C4ISR, in the Acquisition Management and Engineering Group. Zaks will play a pivotal role in supporting DRC's mission to assist defense organizations with critical C4ISR operations. "Irv brings more than 35 years of management and business development experience to this position, giving him the ideal skill set to lead the C4ISR team in delivering industry-leading services to our defense customers," said Robert Smith, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Acquisition Management and Engineering Group. He joined DRC in March 2005 as Senior Consultant for Capture and Acquisition. Before joining DRC, Zaks served as a consultant to the U.S. Air Force Chief Information Officer. Prior to that he had a successful career with GTE Corporation in a variety of roles, including Vice President and General Manager, Information Systems Division. Zaks holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Farleigh Dickinson University and a master's degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University.
