Company Partners with Small Business to Provide Systems Operations and Engineering ANDOVER, Mass., May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that it is part of the Penobscot Bay Media (Pen Bay) team awarded the Veterans Technology Services Government- Wide Acquisition Contract (VETS GWAC), a small business set-aside contract for service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) small technology firms. The contract has a $5 billion program ceiling for all contractors and is for five years with one five-year option. Under the terms of the contract, DRC will provide services in the functional areas of systems operations and maintenance and information systems engineering. "DRC is pleased to offer our depth and breadth of resources to enhance the Pen Bay VETS team, and we look forward to working with this high-performance, talented group to deliver solutions to the government's broad technology needs," said Jeanne LeFevre, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Federal Solutions Group, Dynamics Research Corporation. "This contract allows DRC to further apply our understanding and expertise in the areas of information systems engineering, operations, and maintenance to effectively address the technology challenges of federal agencies." The VETS GWAC is the direct result of Executive Order 13360, signed by President Bush, which calls for a strengthening of federal contract opportunities for SDVO small businesses. The vehicle presents a new way for federal agencies to meet the three percent goal for contracting with SDVO businesses. "We are very pleased to have Dynamics Research Corporation on the Pen Bay VETS team. DRC has demonstrated the highest commitment to customer service, and their support for the entire Pen Bay VETS team has been outstanding," said CAPT Ann Yahner, USN (Retired), President, Penobscot Bay Media.
