ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research
Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) today announced that it was awarded a
$6.4 million task order as a subcontractor to Chickasaw Nation
Industries (CNI) Aviation, LLC under the Tinker Advisory and
Assistance Services Contract (TAASC). Under the terms of the
contract, awarded through the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center at
Tinker Air Force Base, DRC will provide the U.S. Air Force with
advisory and assistance support services for the B-52 Aircraft
Sustainment Group (ACSG), including development, production,
testing and sustainment of systems, subsystems and support systems
requirements. The task order is for a six-month basic performance
period with four option years. "As a long-standing provider of
engineering and sustainment services to the Air Force on the B-52,
DRC is well-positioned to advise and assist the Air Logistics
Center alongside CNI Aviation," said Robert L. Smith, Senior Vice
President and General Manager, Acquisition Management and
Engineering Group, DRC. "Our dedication to improving the
infrastructure and support systems of the longest serving combat
aircraft in the Air Force inventory underscores our commitment to
making the B-52 the most reliable of aviation systems." DRC will
provide engineering, technical, professional and developmental
support to the Air Force's Air Logistics Center to make complete
assessments for the B-52 ACSG and the Air Force infrastructure. The
company will develop recommendations on avionics, weapons
integration, communication and other test and evaluation processes;
which contribute to the Air Force's efforts as it conducts
milestone planning and establishes its goals for development. This
is DRC's first subcontract under TAASC, which is an Indefinite
Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a ceiling of
$350 million providing technical and management expertise to

one of five small businesses awarded this contract, DRC provides an
incumbent staff with highly responsive management expertise and a
record of exceptional past performance with the Air Force. About
