ANDOVER, Mass., Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO), a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, technology and information technology services and solutions to federal and state governments, today announced that it received a $1.5 million task order to provide program management support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A). The task order, which has a one-year base period with two option years, was awarded through the DHS Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions (EAGLE) Program. Under the terms of the contract, DRC will provide services supporting I&A technologies, mission-related planning, deployment, operations, and maintenance activities for critical projects. "DRC continues to be selected to provide high-end management consulting work for DHS, and we are excited to further expand our cyber security efforts into the intelligence and analysis arena," said Jim Regan, DRC's chairman and chief executive officer. "Under this task order DRC will extend their program management expertise to support the closeout phases of existing services within I&A and improve I&A's cyber security and system performance as they collect and disseminate mission-critical intelligence and homeland security information."
