Dynamics Research Corporation Plays Pivotal Role in Department of Defense Joint Training Initiatives DoD Leverages DRC's Military Training and Technical Expertise with multiple contracts totaling $8.2 Million ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ:DRCO) announced today that the Department of Defense (DoD) recently awarded the Company multiple contracts over fifteen months valued at approximately $8.2 million to provide joint training information across the entire Department of Defense. Under terms of these add-on contracts, DRC will continue to develop and support the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS). JTIMS supports the task-based, closed-loop features of the DoD's Joint Training System, which enables commanders to plan, assess training, schedule, de- conflict, review and analyze joint training exercises across the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's Combatant Commands. This means more focused resources for effective military training, with personnel interacting with each other and with simulated systems and people, resulting in improved readiness and military precision on the battlefield. "We are pleased that the Department of Defense has elected to extend our contract to continue providing critical support of its training operations throughout the armed forces," said William C. Hoover, DRC president and chief operating officer. "DRC's proven reputation as a premier provider of leading- edge, web-enabled information systems for training and simulation systems for the military was a deciding factor in this important win for us."
