SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Move, Inc.
(NASDAQ: MOVE) today announced that Michael
Kane has been appointed general manager of TigerLead
Solutions, the nation's premier lead generation and lead management
system for real estate professionals, operated by Move, Inc. Kane
has been serving as acting general manager of TigerLead since
June 2013, and will continue to
execute and shape the strategy and direction of TigerLead as
general manager while retaining his position as Move's chief of
staff.
The TigerLead platform is used by thousands of agents
nationwide, combining search engine marketing expertise with
branded Internet Data Exchange (IDX) listing websites and a lead
management system to help real estate agents generate "smarter
leads" containing unique insights about user activity and
interest.
Kane was instrumental in the initial integration team, and has
worked closely over the past year with TigerLead co-founders
Adam Ingersoll, Art Sawyer, and Howard
Tager and the TigerLead management team as well as
Scott Boecker, chief product officer
for Move.
"Michael has established a solid collaboration with the
TigerLead team over the last year, and is the natural choice to
continue developing TigerLead along the strong performance path it
has demonstrated this year," said Steve
Berkowitz, CEO of Move. "Not only is TigerLead one of the
highest-rated agent solutions the industry has seen, but revenues
have increased nearly 50 percent as of the second quarter of 2013.
With Michael at the helm, TigerLead is optimally positioned for
continued success."
Michael Kane has more than 15
years of technology management experience. Prior to joining Move in
2010, Kane served as chief technology officer for Retail Pro, a
point-of-sale software and services company. He previously held
senior leadership positions in the QuickBooks and Payroll divisions
of Intuit, and at Brio Software, leading Brio Intelligence (now
part of Oracle). He also founded and managed a software and
services consulting company. Prior to launching his own company,
Kane worked on the popular contact manager ACT! for Symantec and
developed cross-platform user interface technology for Oracle.
