Joe Crawford has been elected President/Chief Operating Officer of Roanoke Electric Steel Corporation (NASDAQ:RESC). In the new position of Chief Operating Officer, Crawford will report to Donald G. Smith, who had been president. Smith, 68, remains Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and Treasurer.
