MSCI Inc. (NYSE: MSCI), a leading provider of investment
decision support tools worldwide, announced today that Alain
Dubois, currently Chairman of Lyxor Asset Management, is to join
the firm as Managing Director and Head of New Business and Product
Development for the MSCI index business.
Mr Dubois will join the firm in August and will be based in
London, reporting to Baer Pettit, Managing Director and Global Head
of the MSCI Index Business.
Mr Dubois has been Chairman of Lyxor Asset Management for ten
years. He joined the Société Générale Group in June 2000, in its
equity derivatives division. Prior to joining Société Générale, he
worked in the equity derivatives departments of Commerzbank and
Lazard Frères.

Mr Dubois has an extensive educational background, having
graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole Nationale
d'Administration (ENA) and ENSAE.
