Texas Health Resources Agrees to Beta Installation of NDC Medicare Direct Entry - New NDC ePREMIS Module Delivers Streamlined Hospital Medicare Claims Processing ATLANTA, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- NDCHealth Corporation (NYSE:NDC), a leading provider of healthcare technology and information solutions, today announced Texas Health Resources (THR), a nonprofit healthcare delivery system, as the beta site for the new NDC ePREMIS(R) Claims Management module, NDC(R) Medicare Direct Entry, a flexible, single "all payer" solution designed to streamline Medicare Part A claims processing. NDC Medicare Direct Entry further enhances the revenue cycle benefits of NDC ePREMIS(R) by offering users a flexible, integrated solution to generate, manage and archive consolidated reports for both government and third-party commercial claims. The module enables the creation of Medicare claims direct from the patient accounting system. Claims are then processed and edited through ePREMIS Claims Management, and then submitted real time to the Medicare online system via Medicare Direct Data Entry, or batch submitted via the NDCHealth Intelligent Network. Whether users opt to route Medicare claims directly, or through the NDCHealth Intelligent Network, NDC Medicare Direct Entry will continue to capture and archive claims data.
