Dealers at Volvo Cars UK will use Sword Apak’s wholesale finance system (WFS), following the agreed partnership between Volvo and its new finance partner, Santander Consumer UK. Sword Apak already supports a number of Santander’s automotive UK partners who use the supplier’s software to manage their stock funding operations.

The new system was successfully implemented within 2 months and will be used by Volvo dealers to manage their wholesale accounts online through real time views of stock inventory and available credit, as well as past and future financial information.

“Santander prides itself in the significant benefits we can offer dealer networks and their customers”, commented Graham Prestedge, Commercial Director of Santander Consumer UK. “By supporting the wholesale finance facilities that we provide, Sword Apak has made a significant contribution to Santander’s success in the UK automotive finance market-place”.

Sword Apak’s Project Manager, Ian Tudor, further commented: “It has been a pleasure to work with Volvo and Santander on this project, whose respective professionalism and hard work ensured that the system implementation went smoothly from start to finish”.
