DIOS EXPLORATION (TSX VENTURE:DOS) reports new drilling to begin on its
wholly-owned claims surrounding the Niobec Niobium mine, Saguenay, QC. A new
carbonatite breccia zone has recently been discovered by DIOS by drilling
north-east of the Niobec mine and the drilling undertaken will check the core of
this new carbonatite geophysical anomaly called the Falardeau anomaly. Drilling
planned will also test the north-west anomaly for carbonatite potential. The
research team of DIOS is of the opinion that a structural feature perpendicular
to the Saguenay rift zone hosts the St-Honore carbonatite and associated Niobec
mine and DIOS discovered the Shipshaw carbonatite more to the south along that
structure and is now testing it north-east of the Niobec mine. The Falardeau
carbonatite breccia zone returned values of almost 1 % REE over a few metres.
Ultramafic rocks bearing some similarities with kimberlites were also
intercepted. IAMGOLD recently published a REE resource estimate of their
St-Honore carbonatite. IAMGOLD owns about 8.8 % of DIOS's shares.

DIOS actively explores for diamondiferous kimberlites in the James Bay region,
northern Quebec. DIOS systematically samples the glacial till cover and
discovered several favourable kimberlite indicator mineral dispersal trains on
its different projects and kimberlites were found on Hotish (as well as high
grade uranium in volcanics). DIOS's work also led to the discovery of gold in
till glacial dispersal trains on its wholly-owned claims and the discovery to
date of gold in rocks on Au33, LeCaron and 33 Carats.

This press release was prepared par M.J. Girard, M.Sc.Geo, 43-101 QP. DIOS is
present at the PDAC on March 5, booth 3244.
